| The OT-302D is an optional display module for ON-TRAK position sensing amplifiers. The microprocessor controlled display takes the analog voltage output from the position sensing amplifiers and converts this to absolute position in millimeters or inches. The X and Y position output and SUM output are displayed on a LCD backlight display.
The OT-302D features RS232 communication to set metric or English position, scale factors for different size detectors, display update speeds and many more functions. The RS232 has a continuous or on demand position update for data logging and control.
The OT-302D Display Module can be controlled through the RS232 comm port with the following settings: 9600 Baud Rate, 8 Bits, 1 Stop Bit, No Parity.
The OT-302D software is resident in the on board eeprom so no external software is required. All commands are available through the RS232 port.
The OT-302D can also be used as a stand alone instrument. The front panel has two push buttons that set display update speed to slow/fast and engage the zero offset. Simultaneously pushing both buttons puts the OT-302D into a configuration mode that allows the user to set:
English (in) or Metric (mm)
PSD Size (2, 2.5, 4, 5, 10, 20, 30mm)
Display Update Speed (1/10 second intervals)
After the last option is selected the display returns to position display mode. |
