What Is An Alignment System?
An alignment system is a complete system of devices and equipment which includes everything you need to get started using lasers to measure distance, position, motion or vibration with the highest degrees of accuracy. These alignment systems are essential for efficient manufacturing processes and are much more accurate and rapid than manual measuring processes.
There are two types of laser alignment systems to choose from, each offering their own strengths for different applications. All of our systems come with industrial strength carrying cases.
Line Laser Alignment Systems
A line laser alignment system is the most comprehensive way to acquire instant, real-time measurement of any X-Y deviation, at any point along a visible laser reference line. These systems can provide measurements at .001-inch resolution at distances up to 300 feet.
A typical line laser system consists of an alignment laser, one transparent target, one reference target and two Central Processing Units (one CPU for each target). Numerous options are also available with any system.
We have two models of line laser alignment systems available and will be glad to help you determine which one is right for your application or needs.
Rotating Laser Alignment Systems
Rotating laser alignment systems are the most comprehensive way to measure flatness, squareness and straightness, from multiple points, across distances of up to 100 feet.
A typical rotating laser system consists of a rotating laser, up to twenty targets, Digital Interface Module and cables for a multi-target system or one sensor and the CPU for a single-axis system. Numerous options are also available with any system.
